Lake Mendota Bath Remodel

This delightful bath is located on the third floor of a 1914 Claude and Stark designed home. Our clients were concerned with how cold the existing space would be during winter. It was also important that we incorporate green building practices in their remodel. We reused the original claw foot tub and radiator by sand blasting, painting and glazing them. The lavatory faucet and light fixtures were reclaimed from another project and energy improvements were included in the renovations. The result is a simple, yet cheerful bath that minimized waste and will stay warm in the winter.
