Arboretum Neighborhood Interior Renovation
Built in 1966 by a local architect influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic design principles, this home called for a remodel that honored its original vision while improving function.
Tucked in a wooded setting, the new kitchen enhances the home’s connection to nature with wood and earth tones and maximizes natural light from three exterior walls. Structural constraints required creative solutions to improve storage, appliance layout, and sociability—all within the existing footprint. The result is a warm, functional space perfect for cooking and entertaining.
This project won a local NARI Remodeler of the Year (RotY) award, and went on to win both a regional RotY award and a national RotY award.
