Spring Harbor Historic Tudor

Whole Home Renovation – Exterior

This home previously lacked any dedicated outdoor living space, which was a challenge since it’s primarily used during the summer and fall months. The homeowners wanted to make the most of their time on the property by creating a functional and inviting outdoor environment for relaxation and entertaining.

To meet this goal, a new patio was placed on the sunny south side, connecting seamlessly with the kitchen and outdoor cooking areas. A retaining wall hugs the patio, creating a cozy outdoor room with added structure and intimacy. For privacy from the nearby golf course, a fireplace was strategically positioned to block views of passing golf carts while preserving the scenic vistas from the garden room. A waterfall feature adds to the serene atmosphere, attracting birds and offering soothing ambient sounds, transforming the once underutilized space into a peaceful, private retreat.
